Where it began

When Eli was three, he made me a ring out of dried beans for Mother’s Day. He glued each one on carefully and handed it to me like it was treasure. And then, every single morning, he’d ask if I was wearing it.

I wore that bean ring until it literally fell apart. This piece is that memory — made to last this time.

What makes eli, eli

Eli is the middle of five boys. All he’s ever wanted was to keep up with his big brothers. From soccer to golf, he throws himself into every sport like it’s the only thing that matters — fast, full-hearted, unstoppable.

But there’s a gentleness beneath that energy. He’s the kind of kid who sends you a text just to say he misses you. Who needs to know every single thing that’s happening around him. Who obsesses over Goldfish crackers, aquariums, and tiny details most people overlook.

That’s the Eli this ring carries.
